Drupal is better than

Drupal is probably the most powerful open source CMS system and yet it is easy to use to create content.

Seasoned content creators will testify to is inherent strengh - which in software simply means a reliable framework.

To the rest of us that speak English, a software system where things are integrated properly under the hood is the key

to an implementable security layer and a reliable updating service.

Early types of blogging engines have lost some of my most exciting writing. You have to forgive them, really. You push the wrong button, and instead of remembering your post, it tells you your login time out has expired and now your article has gone. Damn! Should have saved it. Archives are very important - but what is a blogging archive?

If it involved an account you have to remember to login into, or it may just be removed due to your lack of interest, it is not an archive. It is a waste paper basket.

An archive used to be a storehouse for the original work of art, and the rest of the world goes on with the copies. Now we have museums for that, and an archive has become the storehouse of art works and treasures achieved by the greatest of our minds.

And since most content is produced with open source tools these days and is available for web consumption with scripting languages and ready to run frameworks, the future looks good for the PHP and LAMP industry.

Government is being forced to open source and it may just be the start of a revolution in the private sector.
